Winter problems

It can almost be like clockwork...The temperature drops and whatever is not ready for winter fails. The problem is in attempting to predict where and what will fail. Two years ago in my new job it was like a "baptism by fire". Some who had been around for years said they never had seen it issues as troublesome as what was being experienced that winter. Last year almost the opposite, major troubles were infrequent and far between. This year so far it beginning to build with major issues that were quite unexpected. Will it continue? that is the question which has no answer. I do no one thing for sure: the guys doing the work around here are diligent at ensuring that we have done as much as knowingly possible to keep the surprises to a minimum. For that I am grateful.

Saskatchewan Party Victory

The people of Saskatchewan voted for continuation of current direction of the province yesterday. Some call it an "Orange crush(ed)" or landslide. I prefer just to say that the majority of the people in the province are satisfied with the current government. I was very satisfied with Brad Wall's acceptance speech. He acknowledged all of those stepping forward allowing their name to stand. Indeed it is incredibly important and one that was fought for by our armed services and put into place by the peaceful people of great nation. Will the Sask Part govern for along time? Not likely, There is always an ebb and flow to these things, which is good overall. For now though, the majority is satisfied.

Snow has begun

Woke up this morning at about 4AM with this brighter than usual light streaming through all the windows. In our new house I found it rather startling \. I looked outside, not knowing what to expect and found snow! Just a couple or three inches laying on the ground but enough. I am grateful there was not a 1/2" of rain first. That always make winter  more treacherous for walking or driving.

One things for sure: my upper lip is warmer. Check it out my progress and leave a donation towards prostate cancer research here.

Funny but serious little tune!

I got Twittered this from @maddie273 today: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_vCsriXUzJY&feature=youtu.be. It is a great little tune telling it like it is. By the way I am @dosvader on twitter. Not that many tweets but once in awhile I got something to say.
One guy was teasing me today saying " I thought you were growing a mustache!" Haha! Love the banter. In any case go on over to http:\\mobro.co/rderoo and check out my web page, make a donation and don't forget to rate my page, like it twitter it etc.

MOvember

Movember! What is it? It's  a time for us men to join together to create awareness for men's health in general and prostate cancer specifically. This is my first attempt at this. Yes I've had a moustache before even a beard, but it has been awhile. Seems rather exiting actually! Yes I live a boring life. :(

I really want to encourage all of you wherever in the world you are to go my "MO" website at http://mobro.co/rderoo Please make a donation on-line, leave a comment (you can be encouraging, have some sort of fun remark, whatever), you may even have a style suggestion for me. Keep in mind the testosterone ain't what it used to be so I'm expecting a pretty slow growth.

Check back as I will try to make some daily updates for fun. I may have to wait for some stubble to appear before I post a picture though.
